SRK of course is a guru in marketing in many aspects even better than Philip kotler or peter drucker. He knows when to be recluse and when to over expose himself in the idiot box, when to raise a controversy and how long to keep it going. All the channels willingly oblige him by screening his very cleverly released 'exclusives' which he gives to every other channel. Then here is a man who owns a team in IPL and claims he did not know how his own team did not pick any Pakistani and is now repenting and wanting to choose them for his team and goes out to proclaim Pakistani's are the best in the game!. If it was Advani or any other actor buffoon who had said this, the channels would have ripped him to pieces. But our man is different,he is a brand.

Karan Johar is another guru in advertising and very intelligent too. Now add to this combination, Fox searchlights who very cleverly created hype for the slumdog. What you get is a greater hype and if i am not mistaken, expect a very mediocre khan film coming up. It looks like they are trying very hard to get back the investment.

Just a few days before the actual release, karan and some one from Fox may visit the senas and broker a seemingly looking truce and then khan will be released and our man SRK will still be admired for facing the thack's very bravely. The sen'a are also happy for finding a way to show relevance. The BJP and the Congress are also happy that they will get a chance to protect Northies and reap the benefit in Bihar. Lalu also will have enough fodder. And all this is enough to forget the sugar and the dal. A win win for everyone.

And what about the Northies in Mumbai? Nothing to worry, all this stunts is only till bihar and afterwards it will be life as usual. May be some need to be driven away to their home, to vote for congress. That is what you call two birds with one stone.
