Son in law in Sun

In a significant move, just a day after the CM karunanidhi comes back after a long stay [with his s-in-law] in Bangalore, his Son-in-law is appointed a director of Sun network.

Sun TV Network Ltd has announced that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on August 10, 2009, has appointed Mr. S Selvam as an Additional Director of the Company with effect from August 10, 2009 to hold office up to the date of ensuing Annual General Meeting.

Murasoli. S.Selvam is the brother of Murosoli Maran, father of kalanidhi and Dayanidhi and is the husband of Selvi, daughter of karunanidhi. he stays in Bangalore and looks after Udhya TV.

Surely there must have been some clandestine business meetings in Bangalore while CM was resting before this announcement.

Kamal defects to Kalaignar, Vijay loses

When Vijay TV was going full swing preparing for the live telecast of a function commemorating kamalahassan's 50 years of his contribution to cinema, they got a shocker.

Vijay Tv was conducting interviews and views were taken from those who have known Kamal as an actor as well as from his childhood.All this because they had the broadcasting rights.

Even the sponsors of the event had been finalized. When the preparatory wok and other works were mid-way through, Vijay TV authorities were informed that 'Kalaignar TV' wanted to host the event. Kalaignar TV then spoke directly to Kamal and somehow 'coerced' him into accepting the change of host of the event.
