The approach to the Tamil ethnic problem in Srilanka need to be pragmatic and future focused without rubbing any more wounds for either sides. A Humane solution without affecting the pride of both ethnic groups is the need of the hour.

In this era, talks of separatism in this region should remain taboo and any solution ought to be with in. India can act as an catalyst at the most and it ought to pursue it. For this the first step is to understand the situation and not provoke , insult or pour words which cannot be retrieved.

The Camps should be dismantled as early as feasible and the residents there should be given equal rights and freedom - Well Let's all live together as humans and let the past be left behind.

Chief Minister M Karunanidhi on Wednesday said that a separate Tamil Eelam in Sri Lanka was not feasible in prevailing situation. “We can only fight for equal rights and devolution of powers for Tamils and equal status for Tamil language,”- A welcome first step. There is no point in hiding the truth by poems and literature or flowery and emotional speeches, what next is the only question which need to be addressed with a rational mind.
