Tamil TV weekly newbies

From Monday, two new serials will start, one in Sun TV and another in kalaignar TV.

Vijaykumar, the evergreen actor of big screen is acting for the first time for a TV serial in Thangam, a production by Ramya Krishnan. Monday to Friday at 8.30 Pm[ Kalasam ended yesterday abruptly probably just to give way to vijaykumar]

Uravuku kai koduppom is a new serial in kalignar TV every Monday to Thursday at 7.30 Pm.  It is a AVM production and is directed by Puvanesh. Music is by bhardwaj and lyrics is by vairamuthu. Acted by the regualr atristes, the story is about a joint family in which the elder brother brings up his brothers as parents and does many scarifices. The family is an exmple for unity till a riff happens and then what happens may not be known to the director himself for that shoyuld be a subject after a year...

Zee Tamil is launching Saregama challenge Monday and Tuesday at 9.00 Pm. 15 new singers will pair with renowned singers and the best pair will be selected by judges like MSV, Nithiyashri etc. .

Kalaignar TV is starting Nenjam maramathilai every sunday at 10.15 in which Old songs will be rejuvenated by a music troupe with today's instruments etc[ not any remix]. R.K.Sundar and Ganapathi are the Music Directors.

Vijay Tv is starting a new Game show called pattu Padava Friday and Saturday at 9.00 Pm from July 3. It is based on the international format, Don't Forget Your Lyrics, and will be a version of the Hindi show, Bol Baby Bol. Paatu Paadavaa is a unique musical game show in which, without missing the lyrics of at least 10 songs, the contestant stands a chance to win the prize money of Rs 5 lakh.
