No Brahmins HERE

A well made serial, with a classy format of intervening between scenes and discussing the plot plus a high philosophical thought expressed so simply in a language understandable by anyone with a ear and eyes, was "ENGE BRAHMINAN' which ended last Friday.[ Jaya TV] Written by CHO , directed by Venkat, this was a class apart.

Not elongating it beyond requirement and using colloquial language helped the story and the simple message was, Brahmin is no more and what we see as Brahmin in the earth today is just a caste like any other caste and no caste is inferior nor superior. the Brahmin if he exist, should be one who loves all , is wise and does not save or seek money, nor do anything with expectations. In today's age it is practically impossible to be one and that is what CHO says. The Genius of the man is exorbitantly revealed by the serial. Hats Off. Hope some Venkat will adapt this in English and other languages [ not dub but adapt] . This is a must see for all of us.

Criticize, but know it all before it- wise words from a wise man. Not all that was said was absolute in truth and certainly some were highly opinionated. But the best thing about the serialis, for the first time there was a 'thinking' serial in Tamil TV. You like it, hate it or be happy by ignoring it, it has given a job for many eager minds and has awakened even some which were sleeping for a while. There are many criticizers too like Raghuram Ekambaram or the blog anarchy fix OR jayashree and many admirers too. That is what makes CHO a man.... And who can be a better critic than himself.

Actor Nagesh had said once - "If you think Cho is saying something silly, think again, you'll find it has its own significance."
