It's hard to believe but that's what NDTV HINDU claims. As per them,

Chennai’s only English News and Features channel has within a month of its launch garnered an impressive 18% market share in the city. It has already overtaken channels like CNN-IBN, Headlines Today, NewsX, and BBC World in the English news genre. The combined market share for NDTV 24x7 and NDTV HINDU in this space has also achieved a clear commanding position of 41.5% in the same period

‘Rush Hour’, 'As It Happens', 'Noon Focus' are the lead programmes that bring news as it happens. The primetime show being ‘Night Vision’ hosted by the channel's Managing Editor/COO, Jennifer Arul and Anchor/Editor, Saptarishi Bhattacharya who bring a wrap on the day's big stories. Shows like 'Big Pic', 'Super Shopper', 'I Spy With My Digital Eye', 'Workout Victim', Shift Focus' and 'Feeding Frenzy' complete the exciting programming lineup. [ Indian television]

Meanwhile Star Plus has attained first position in Hindi entertainment after a long gap. As per TAM[C&S,4+,HSM] week 24 the position is Star Plus 23%, Colors 20%, Zee 19%, NDTV Imagine 9%, Sony 7%, SAB 6%, Star one 5%, DD1 4%, Sahara one 3%, Star Utsav 2%, 9X 2% and Real 1%.

Among the Top 10 programmes on Hindi GECs, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai rules the charts again, with the highest TVR of 5.9. Bidaai has recorded a TVR of 5.4, followed by Balika Vadhu, which garnered 5.3. Agle Janam Mohe Bitiya Hi Kijo, the most popular show on Zee, has recorded a TVR of 4.3.
