The Assembly of Animals

Many times I wonder why man perceives the Lion as the king of the Jungle. Surely the Lion did not summon the ambassador of the humans to inform so, nor did the humans receive any resolution from the jungle proclaiming their king to be the Lion. Why can't it be the Cheetah or the Tiger if  force , magnificent built were the criteria or simply why can't it be the cow? Does it speak about our mind when we look for qualities like strong, forceful etc in leaders? Even if so why did we not perceive a Tiger as the king or a more qualified and agile Cheetah?.  Some might argue that the African Lion is really very massive, even more than the Asian variety and is very strong, majestic, agile and is the top predator. But my question is, is being a predator an essential to be a king. Why should an animal which kills to live or lives to kill be the leader of animals?

And so one day if the Jungle decides to become democratic with equal rights of franchise to all animals, then may be the 'change' would have occurred in the jungle also. Most probably the Cow would have become the king, for it would have some sense of worldly wisdom and would have the support of the bison's, the deers, the elephants and all other herbivorous and their numbers would definitely outnumber the carnivorous. And then the deers would demand their pound of flesh in bargain for their support by demanding a rule that deers will no more become food for others.   A few lions will become thinner and the rest of them would change their staple diet. Seeing the success of the deer the remaining herbivorous also will demand a similar rule. Being a coalition government, the cow will have no choice but to oblige.Some cats would have canvassed among the Tigers to convert them to herbivorous. The Cattle and the goats would have demanded reserved grazelands for their 'backyard' community. Soon more carnivorous will slim until they decide to rebel. A civil war will break out and the jungle will be split in to two, one for the carnivorous and the other for the herbivorous. The omnivorous would be told to decide on one of the side.  Very soon the carnivorous will realize their folly for all their food is on the other side of the divide. May be they all will have to prey upon themselves or of their own kind. A lion may rejoice a flesh of a jackal and the hyena may look for a cat. But for how long. None of them breed like the herbivorous and hence very soon they may not have enough to feed. So some of them may eat grass and the rest live to die. While on the other side, it might take little longer to realize the folly. With no one to prey upon, the numbers will swell exponentially and hence there may not be enough for all. With scant vegetation left some might prefer flesh of the similar and rest may be adamant to starve. May be a camel will remain vegetarian still for it can live on less. May be the smaller carnivorous will remain carnivorous for their food will be less and hence may be still available. May be the animals which feed on the dead may remain healthy for there may be so much flesh on the side. And soon the animals on both sides realizing their folly might decide to join again. But by then the cow would have a canine teeth and the lions may be chewing the cud.

Or may be if a lazy Lion had usurped power by rigging, it could have ordered two deers or similar to fall dead every day at it's plate, by order. And sooner the Jungle would have become a land.

Probably realizing all this by foresight, God did not put an active mind in the animals. As they dwell only by limited memory, enough to know their kind, their enemy, their food and habitat, they are not caught in the vices of the human world which thinks more about power than food. The blessings these animals got from god is by not having to think. The deers jump, dance and are merry till they spot or smell a danger from the predators., when they run as fast as they can. Still one or more of them will be caught but that does not sunk the deers which go on to find it's next grass. The lions do not blow their trumpet after every kill and nor will they be plotting a day for every kill. The jungle has no laws, no rules and none have a mind to think. Probably that is why they live in harmony, unmindful of the others till they have to feed. Near any water shed all varieties of animals appear in unison, not interacting nor disturbing., till a lion gets hungry. And they are never afraid to come to the pool fearing death from an obviously hungry Lion. There are no laws, no rules but still they manage to maintain a perfect ecosystem, without having any such obvious intent. And though man may perceive a leader, the Jungle survives because there is no leader. Probably when a lion sins, by having an extra meal or when a cow sins by eating more grass they are punished to become humans in their next birth.

Many times I wonder why were the animals born? Why did the god create so may kinds of animals. If it was to maintain a ecosystem then he could have made one kind of herbivorous, one kind of carnivorous and another of omni variety. Why bother to make a lion a tiger and a fox? Why a cow, deer and a monkey? Probably he kept experimenting till he found a man. But then did he also have to learn by a trial and error. That sounds doubting his caliber. So why the hell did he make so many kinds of animals, reptiles and the others? Where they made to teach the human. If so did he learn the wrong lessons? There is no democracy and no one is a king among animals. They all live for the day and do not cherish their past nor worry about the future. They live together as a kind and prey only when need so.

If suppose god had nothing to do with any creation and they are just  existence by evolution as believed  by the Darwins and the atheists, then why did the evolution stop with the man? How come the animals did not have an urge to acquire a better mind? This thought gives more credence to the belief that there indeed is one, I mean atleast one, above all who is busy creating. But then even if by him, why did he stop with man?

Did he make all the animals to help man become better equipped till he on his own is able to control the ecosystem? Today the existence of most of the animals is irrelevant for they serve no purpose. They are no more required to maintain an ecosystem for  man is busy destructing it. Only animals which profit a human require existence. The rest need not stay or may be there for a grace period. So is it that the man has learnt the lessons or did he miss one or two? Or may be the God foresaw a period when it will be beyond the scope of the animals to mind the ecosystem. The automated ecosystem with the help of animals was clearly against the nature of the humans as they needed more food and space and hence both the jungles and the animals had to shrink. May be God wanted that to happen as and when. Or may be just he made humans to mind the animals and soon he may make something better to the ever failing human.

The Law of the Jungle or the lack of one there seems to be in better order than the law of the land which is creating more chaos by the day. How different is the Assembly of nations from that of the animals? . Isn't the people of Gaza in a state of "everyone to himself" left to guard themselves and feed if available. But can you blame Israel for retaliating. A Tooth for Tooth or a nail for nail is all too old for Israel, it believes in at least 500 tooth for every tooth.  But what is wrong. Since the time of Entebe or even before, Israel has been pleading to the world to define Terrorism and ban all kinds of it. But the world is still indecisive and Israel needs to use might for survival. What is freedom struggle and why should it be allowed. Is a nation bigger than a human? Is God bigger than a nation? What if there are no nations? What if there are no leaders? Instead of being a slave to a system or a body why not I be by myself. At least then I will have a law of the Jungle, unlike now where there are so many laws and each requires proofs for being effective. And subjective nature of the laws are making them as good as non existent.

Today what is just is what is not as in the legal books but as perceived by the powerful five nations. As long as one of the five veto's you can even blow up a nation. Countries like Pakistan are merrily exporting terrorism because they are cleverly manipulating the system. Soon after the Israel attack on Gaza the Turkish PM has said that Israel was "perpetrating inhuman actions which would bring it to self-destruction. Allah will sooner or later punish those waelho transgress the rights of innocents." Well is Allah expected to pardon the Paki's then? 


If Only Allah was a Hindu god, he will, definitely choose to make one more avatar to clear the air about his holy book. His book is the best and is more holy than the holiest and I am not writing it in fear of a fatwa. The problem is in it's interpretation. If at all the Prophet made a mistake, it is in not  stating the number of Satans. He was categorical in stating that there was only one god but failed to mention the number of the satans, which is what the mullahs and the clerics are exploiting.  According to them anyone against their wishes become satans and that is why the number of satans are rising for a Islamic community. And in the name of Jihad, which also is another false interpretation of the Kuran, they themselves become the satans. So the number of satans are also increasing in reality in their own clan.  Today it is unfortunatly becoming a religion of one god but countless satans both in and out, by it. The Allah will surely help them some day to cure their illness.


All religions understand that the God is omnipotent. So he does not need a man or group of men for his survival.  That is why it is illogical to assume that the God instructed his messenger to proclaim that all infidels should be killed. How can the god be a nation , for he is the creator of the universe and much beyond.  The Islamic countries like Saudi Arabia and other responsible Islamic nations like UAE, Oman, Jordan etc should be forthright and correct all misinterpretations on their holy religion which itself will help it conquer the world. The acts of the Pakistani's, Jihadis and the Hamas will only increase the number of Satans both inside and outside. 


The God surely wanted them to spread his message but by kind not by force. He did not make his book for the jungle, so why are these ignorant, persistent in making this , his holy land in to a jungle. 


The animals are choosing to be extinct perhaps because they have found place in the human minds and actions. The lands of today is becoming a big Jungle, so may be the Jungles of yesteryears will be confined in Zoo's and Museums. 


And finally for the Pakistani's - If only a word from Allah will satisfy you as proof for your sins, so be it. An Indian prayer will bring him back. Let's see for how long you will use his name to discredit him. 


And for the World, we surely are missing some vital Lessons from the animals and their ester Jungle. What could that be? My perception is that God created variety in the Jungle and made it run by itself proving that "it takes all kinds to survive to make the world going" . Any one listening?
