Didnt i tell you. The first phase is over and the exit polls are out and more or less as predicted with all escape clauses and with a motive to swing the undecided vote bank to vote the hand way.
There was a battleground votes gujarat program in NDTV, one day before the first phas, where NDTV ceo pranab looks at sorabjiwalla and says 'he is beaming, looks like he knows the results' and then they go on to discuss how the voter do not like arrogant politicians blah blah etc etc. And the next day they almost write off modi. Two things could have happened. Sorabjewala could have interpreted the exit poll interviews with his already prenotioned mind and may have come out with wrong results. or they may well be near truth. There were three exit polls and by average BJP is expected to pick forty five seats. The second phase is supposed to be easier compared to the first phase and so if BJP gets 60 seats which is expected even by anti modi channels BJP should win majority. But there are last minute attempts by the media. CNN-IBN is projecting Bharat solanki as the congress choice if they win majority. They cleverly did not do so before first phase, because the patels may not vote congress if they knew it was solanki. And now they are doing it because that might help congress to win a few more seats near where solanki is standing. Solanki is expected to win but if no boost, his party might get only one more seat in his area of influence. And the boost is coming from CNN-IBN. In a live chat two weeks back the political editor of cnn-ibn has told he expects solanki to be the next cm. THE MEDIA HAS SHOWN ITS VESTED INTERESTS ONCE AGAIN.
