Jodi Number one controversy

The simbu vs prithiviraj controversy has created more interest in the programme and I am sure their next programme will be watched by many more, just to see what will happen to prithivi. The TRP rating is going to go higher. Most of the Hindi songs and dance competitions have this kind of masala stuff now and then and it has been effective for their TRP's. I have also seen some western programmes where the judges have been similarly subjective and rude in their remarks. So it is ok. Jodi number one has always been different. When three similar programmes are in air there has to be something different and spicy to make you the best. So if it was planned affair it was a very successful attempt for it was well camouflaged. except for one that simbu kept a stern face right from start giving a clear impression that he has made his mind before the start. [bad actor?]
Prithivi's grievance has some meaning. Simbu said during the solo round that there was more style and less dance. Here again he said the same. He did not mention 'adavee ellai' but almost said the same. I saw the repeat telecast on Monday and I did not see anytime when prithivi missed some steps. Yes the number was great and he was rocking. Some of his steps were swift and good for eyes. May be I do not know dance but for a layman it was great dance. And a master,a father of two great dancers said the chemistry was good and they rocked. Sangeetha praised uma and said even prithivi was good. so if Simbu differed he should have been more technical in his open judgement. It is always easy to be a critic. But tough to be a fair judge. Was Simbu unconsciously or consciously biased in his opinion? One of them has to be true. Prithivi is not a novice. He is also a respected and a popular TV artiste. And Simbu is not God. He ought to have dealt with him better. Just try to read prithivi's mind. Here he thought he performed very well and Sangeetha comes to the stage, bypasses him and hugs Uma. first shock. Then Simbu fires a salvo. And a very bitter one. The disappointment was very much seen in his face. Remember what he told on Friday telecast. His performance in folk round was below par because he came to know that others had complained that he broke rules by using a property in a competition where he won accolades. So it was evident the others were ganging against him and Simbu was taking sides. Both Simbu and Prithivi have many thing in common. Both have great ego's,similar hair style,are stylish in their actions and are performers. Both are forthright and can be easily misunderstood. So may be like poles repelled. I always admire DD for stage presence and way she handles the participants. But she disappointed me here. Venkat was clearly spiting fire against Prithivi by telling that he is an experienced dancer is of no value in the competition. And that was the last straw. Prithivi could no longer control himself and he decided to quit. Sad for him. I am sure the organisers were unfair. but that is the way the world runs. More people will see jodi number one and the short memory of people will not do good for prithivi. Simbu will become stronger and probably the floor will be more tense hence forth.
I also have a doubt. Was it prithivi who had discouraged aishweraya and company? I thought it was venkat and then they realised their folly. But this incident makes me feel that Simbu wanted to give prithivi a lesson when he was going to eliminate aish and dev. some poetic justice?
