Kalaignar TV is on. And it is definitely good for the viewers. The competition is now visible. Sun and kalaignar were clearly at loggerheads on Sunday September 16Th. The movies shown in kalaignar TV on Saturday, its first day were very recent and super hits. Sun tried to match it with not so old and popular movies. However kalaignar broadcast was full of advertisements and continuous and long interruptions were irritating. Most news readers, compere's and programmes were straight lift from SUN TV. ungal viruppam is ungal choice of uma. Ramesh praba, pepsi uma, and probably more than fifty percent have crossed over. Kalaigner Tv has bought rights of sivaji, dasavatharam, marudhamalai etc. AVM, Balachander, Sivaji Productions,YG mahendran, Crazy Mohan and Pyramid etc are all making serials for them. It all goes to show Power and money is paramount in India.
Whatever may be the cause for its inception, the entry of kalignerTV has changed the scenario. Every channel is taking extra care for getting the eyeball. Sun and vijay seem to be more serious. Vijay's jodi number one and kanakanum are super duper hits. Similar programmes in sun and kalaigner are yet to reduce TRP of jodi. The manudu myuladu has very good judges similar to vijay. kala, brindha nad simran. But the name of the programme and its presentation title song etc are very mediocre. While Jodi number one has a class and is very professional. Well the heat is building and we are here to chat discuss about what we are getting.
Jaya showed thalai nagaram. Sun showed perallagan and thinuru. Kalaignar tv showed moli and imsai arasan. Well right now there is only one clear winner. The viewers of course.
Yuhi sethu's programme was very original and good to watch. Kannadasan was a easy guess for me but it was very lively. Kudos to kalaigner TV. ellame siruppu than first show was very poor. Jaya TV is still strong in the morning opening show and visu and jackpot. Well Monday is serial day and what will be the fate of kolangal?
